This area offers a unique mixture of suburban and rural scenery with the perfect background of the Rocky Mountains to the west. The launch site is centrally located for easy access from Arvada, Aurora, Boulder, Brighton, Broomfield, Centennial, Denver, Englewood, Fort Collins, Golden, Greeley, Greenwood Village, Highlands Ranch, Lakewood, Littleton, Lonetree, Longmont, Louisville, Loveland, Parker, Thornton, Westminster and Wheatridge. This location also makes for the perfect day trip for visitors staying in the Estes Park/Rocky Mountain National Park area.
The Experience
You will watch in awe as your balloon is inflated and prepared for flight. Next you'll climb aboard with great anticipation as your pilot gives you a briefing and flight instructions. Before you know it, you lift effortlessly into the air and begin your peaceful journey.
You will take in amazing views of the Colorado Rockies as you fly from treetop level up to several thousand feet while traveling 3 to 15 miles. After approximately one hour of magical flight it is time to return to the loving arms of Mother Earth. Next, it's time to pack up and return to the launch site for a traditional champagne celebration.

The price listed above is current and up-to-date. A $7.50 per person fuel surcharge will be added to the total price of your reservation. There are no other use fees, taxes or hidden charges.

Our balloon rides are perfect for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Marriage Proposals, Honeymooners, Company Parties, Family Reunions and are a "Must Do" on your Colorado Vacation. We have found that the majority of our passengers are celebrating a special occasion of some kind. With this in mind, we have tailored our hot air ballooning experience to be a celebration that exceeds all expectations.
Reservations
Our 2011 Boulder flight season runs from April 1 - October 30. Flights are offered 7 days a week, weather permitting. Due to harsh weather conditions and persistent strong winds we do not fly any other time of the year. Please note that our reservation department is open 365 days a year.
We can accommodate up to 12 passengers per day. Larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice.
Please book early in your stay in case inclement weather creates the need to reschedule your flight.
Our flights are approximately one hour in the air. We fly in a high altitude environment and weather conditions can change quickly. Therefore, our flights may be longer or shorter than stated due to weather, safety concerns and/or availability of landing sites. Please allow a good portion of your morning for the entire experience.
All reservations must be held with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover card. Note: Credit Card charges will not be processed until after the flight is completed.
All passengers must sign a Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement prior to participation.
Cancellation Policy
Any passenger cancellation 7 days or less from the scheduled flight time will be charged in full.
There is no penalty for passenger cancellation if notice is given to Colorado Hot Air Balloon Rides more than 7 days before the scheduled flight time.
No payment is due if your flight is canceled by Colorado Hot Air Balloon Rides due to inclement weather.
